Question:
How does the KODAK PROFESSIONAL 8500 Digital Photo Printer compare to other KODAK PROFESSIONAL Thermal Printers?
Answer: Answer last updated:10-03-05
The 8500 Digital Photo Printer is based on the same technology as other KODAK PROFESSIONAL Thermal Printers. It has an unprecedented acquisition cost compared to the KODAK PROFESSIONAL 8660 Thermal Printer and KODAK PROFESSIONAL 8670 PS Thermal Printer. It has many of the features of higher priced models except that it is not designed with the same capacity, duty cycle or breadth of paper sizes.

The 8500 Digital Photo Printer is designed for low-volume stationary applications. The 8660 Thermal Printer has a duty cycle and paper capacity that will support high-volume retail, event, and specialty applications.
