Question:
The calibration (CAL) file is missing or corrupt.
Answer: Answer last updated:03-12-09
If you cannot see the image on your computer and the message "CAL file is missing" appears, look for the CAL file in the following folders:
  • The same folder as your images.
  • For WINDOWS OS-based computers, look in the Windows/TWAIN_32/Kodak-DCS folder.
  • For MACINTOSH computers, look in the folder containing your ADOBE PHOTOSHOP plug-ins.
  • DCS Acquire Module installs a 'DCS Plug-ins into Adobe Photoshop Plug-ins, import/export' folder. You must copy or install the CAL file into this folder so DCS Acquire Module can see the CAL file.
If you cannot locate the file, or if the file is corrupt (you can't see the image), reinstall the CAL file from your original or back-up diskette. If this does not resolve your problem, or if you do not have the diskette, contact Kodak:
