To turn off the Kodak software updater:

  1. Select Start > Programs > Kodak > Kodak software updater > Kodak software updater setup.
  2. Select No, and then click OK.
  3. Click OK again.

To uninstall the Kodak software updater:

  1. Depending on your operating system, select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs or Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
  2. In the Add/Remove Programs window, select Kodak EasyShare software, and then select Add (in Windows 98 or ME operating system) or Change (in Windows 2000 or XP operating system).
  3. Click Next until a window opens, with choices for Modify, Repair, or Remove.
  4. Select Modify, and then click Next.
  5. For the Kodak software updater feature, in the Action list box, select Remove, and then click Next.
  6. Click Next, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
